Healthcare IT & PACS Support

Medical IT Support. Imaging Expertise. Local Accountability.

ArcticEdge Innovations helps medical practices manage the computers, servers, networks, and imaging technology their teams depend on. Based in Eagle River, we offer remote support across Alaska and scheduled onsite services by arrangement.

Managed Agreements

Ongoing IT Management

Agreements are scoped around each practice's systems, staffing, locations, and support requirements.

Computer support and user account administration
Windows Server administration and monitoring
Network, firewall, and Wi-Fi management
Scheduled updates and maintenance
Endpoint security management
Backup monitoring and agreed recovery testing
Coordination with software, internet, and equipment vendors

Imaging Systems

PACS & Medical Imaging Support

PACS — Picture Archiving and Communication Systems — are the systems used to store, access, and manage medical images. ArcticEdge provides support for the infrastructure and workflows that keep imaging operations running.

Supporting servers, storage, networks, and viewing workstations

Platform support, access requirements, and responsibilities are confirmed during assessment. Application updates are coordinated with vendor requirements and approved maintenance windows.

Smaller Environments

Small Practices & Rural Clinics

ArcticEdge can assist practices that create medical images and offices that primarily view images from outside facilities. Not every clinic needs its own PACS server — we work with what your environment requires.

Our Process

How We Work

01

Discuss

We talk through the practice's systems and current support arrangements.

02

Review

We review the environment and identify priorities.

03

Propose

We provide a written proposal with defined responsibilities, support hours, and pricing.

04

Begin

We complete onboarding and begin the agreed services.

ArcticEdge can provide ongoing IT management or work alongside an existing IT team. Larger projects, equipment, licensing, travel, and after-hours coverage are addressed explicitly in the proposal.

Experience

Technical Leadership

ArcticEdge is led by Corey Buchanan, whose professional background includes service as an Army Communications Chief, civilian computer engineering supporting the U.S. Air Force, network engineering at Global Credit Union, and hospital PACS administration.

These are Corey's prior professional roles, not contracts performed by ArcticEdge Innovations.
